“My work at Eucon is at least as colorful as my former profession as a painter and refinisher.”
When Matthias discusses quotes and invoices on the phone, it is immediately apparent: He grasps – in the truest sense of the word – his craft. Before he joined the Eucon team at the end of 2012, namely, Matthias had gained over 15 years of experience as a painter and refinisher. Whereas craftsmanship used to be part of his duties, he now deploys his expertise at a PC in order to assess trade services. As part of the property damage team, he takes care of the creation of price calculations, price negotiations or invoice verifications, but also issues such as the training of new employees. In these tasks, he not only incorporates his expertise, but also his interest in technology and computers.
One thing is particularly important to Matthias: a varied environment where he is involved and where he can develop. An environment like the one Eucon offers him and over 450 colleagues worldwide.
“From student trainee to automotive expert: Eucon has accompanied my career.”
The career of Benjamin is an example of how tasks and structures at Eucon “grow” with an employee. He came to Eucon as a student trainee. Both sides were convinced after this initial contact that this had the potential for a long-term relationship. Benjamin brought the ideal conditions to the table. As a trained car salesman, he knows the automotive market, and as a mechanical engineer and industrial engineer, he has a passion for data and analyses. At Eucon, Benjamin and his team are responsible as data analysts for preparing and reviewing the market data that constitutes the basis for the business model of Eucon.
Benjamin was convinced of Eucon from the start, too: Teamwork among equals is emphasized here just as much as freedom while working. Aspects that are a priority both for him and for over 450 of his colleagues worldwide.
“The whole company is geared to the employees – not just us here in Human Resources.”
For Ann-Marie and her teammates, everything revolves around personnel issues. From recruiting new staff to topics such as staff development and payroll to administrative tasks: The human resources expert makes sure that Eucon can offer conditions in which every employee can work and develop optimally. Ann-Marie’s path at Eucon itself shows how much room for development there actually is: In the summer of 2007, she started at the front desk and later switched to Technical Operations. In recent years, she successfully passed the tests for state-certified business economist specializing in personnel. She completed her subsequent studies as a graduate in business administration and was then employed in her desired field, Human Resources. Eucon supported her at every step of the way.
The fact that she had the space and the opportunity at Eucon to follow her interests and ambitions is what makes Eucon such a special employer for Ann-Marie. An assessment she shares with over 450 colleagues worldwide.
"The only thing important here is the idea. Not the person who had it.”
Every individual contributes to the future of Eucon in his or her area of responsibility. As the assistant to the Director of Research & Development, Gabi acts as an important link between the entire R&D team and management. Independent project management, monitoring and scheduling are basic modules for smooth processes throughout the entire department. Gabi also creates extensive reports and evaluations as well as decision memos. Important decisions, influencing the direction of the entire organization are based upon Gabis accuracy and experience.
Accuracy is a critical success factor for Eucon. That convinces Gabi as well as her over 450 colleagues worldwide.
„Between customers and colleagues - that's where I feel at home."
The products that are used thousands of times every day build the core and the figurehead of Eucon. Regardless of the variety of users and solutions, they have to be functional and intuitive at the same time – and that is exactly what Max takes care of. Continuous improvement of the UI and UX of the entire portfolio is a complex matter. Max never makes excuses for extensive and time-consuming adjustments in development. On the contrary: he enjoys implementing what others consider impossible at short notice.
This agility and freedom in the workplace is valued by Max and over 450 colleagues worldwide.
