Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (“DAT”) and Eucon GmbH have signed an agreement relating to the provision of product information on spare parts for classic vehicles. The key element of the agreement is to give DAT’s expert body (“DAT Expert Partner”) access to Eucon’s extensive database (MDE Classic Cars & Parts).

“Our DAT Expert Partners are dealing with classic vehicles more and more frequently – where parts and their availability play a crucial role,” explains Raphael Dammann, Head of Sales Strategy at DAT, and adds: “That’s why we are very pleased that our partnership with Eucon will now enable us to connect a large data source to our DAT systems.”
Thanks to the collaboration, DAT experts can now select parts for classic vehicles and modern-era classic cars when calculating repair costs in their SilverDAT software. If a part is not available in the DAT database, an automatic matching with the Eucon database is carried out. Additional information such as paintwork, tires, interior parts and the location of the parts can also be displayed to the user.
“Our goal is seamless integration into the SilverDAT applications. We are achieving this through a multi-step process. We will be providing the first insights at the 2024 Automechanika in Frankfurt in the fall," says Ioannis Lalissidis, Team Leader Cooperation Management at DAT.
“At Eucon, we possess a wide range of data on technical specifications, assemblies and prices (RRP) as well as important information on their sourcing. Anyone involved in the repair or calculation of repair costs for classic vehicles will find what they are looking for in our database,” says Osvaldo Celani, Managing Director Automotive at Eucon GmbH.
“Many manufacturers no longer offer historic parts. We felt it was important to expand our global automotive portfolio to include detailed product information on classic and modern classic cars from all relevant sources,” concludes Sven Krüger, CEO of the Eucon Group.
At the 2024 Automechanika in Frankfurt from September 10 to 14, the partners will present the joint solution that DAT Expert Partners will be working with in future.
