Eucon, the digitalization partner for personal injury claims, has launched a new solution called fastdoc, which is now available for traffic lawyers. The tool is designed to digitalize the procurement of documents relating to the course of treatment and recovery, from claims reporting to communication with insurers and lawyers. Fastdoc accelerates communication between the parties to a case and helps lawyers procure comprehensive information. The software was developed in collaboration with the Working Group on Traffic Law of the German Bar Association.

fastdoc delivers a range of benefits as the solution efficiently connects traffic lawyers with attending healthcare professionals. Using this tool, medical documents can be requested directly and easily, including both medical reports and the documents on specific courses of treatment relating to the claim as well as the medical history of the accident victim. The latter can initiate the process quickly and easily using a digital exemption from confidentiality.
During the procurement process, the commissioned lawyers can track the current status in a portal and view and download the documents. This procedure is transparent, GDPR-compliant and significantly faster than the paper-based method, thereby reducing the administrative workload for traffic lawyers.
“Traffic lawyers use fastdoc to digitally request the medical documents they need for the proceedings. This service considerably simplifies and accelerates their procurement process,” says Jörg Halm, Director Personal Injury at Eucon. As the first solution of its kind, fastdoc offers a convenient and impartial way to streamline this process. “This is why we are the only digitalization partner in the personal injury segment to receive the recommendation of the Working Group on Traffic Law of the German Bar Association (ARGE).”
fastdoc is available to members of the Working Group on Traffic Law (ARGE Verkehrsrecht). Non-members can apply for access to the solution after prior verification. For further information on fastdoc, please contact ARGE Verkehrsrecht (German).
