The Corporate IT Services unit of Eucon GmbH has been certified once again to the globally recognized ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standard by an accredited certification body. This is an important step for the company towards establishing a sustainable Information Security Management System (ISMS), thereby allowing the digital SME to guarantee high standards of information security for its customers.
As part of an extensive audit procedure, the certificate was issued by DQS – The Audit Company, a renowned German certification body for management systems. During this procedure, DQS audited all security-relevant IT and business processes of Eucon GmbH. The audit confirmed that its information security management system complies with the high requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standard.
ISMS governs the company’s entire information security and defines procedures, processes, rules and measures to ensure IT security at Eucon GmbH. This forms the basis for controlling, monitoring, ensuring and optimizing information security. Central risk management is at the heart of the management system, where risk analyses are implemented in conjunction with suitable countermeasures. This ensures a sustainable limitation of risks.
“As a leading provider of data-based systems, our top priorities are information security and the protection of our customers’ data,” says Sven Krüger, CEO of Eucon Group. “This certification is further proof that at Eucon, sensitive data and business transactions are in safe hands.”
